Project 365: March 20, 2011

Christian and I decided to clean the kitchen from top to bottom.  We emptied the shelves and counters and scrubbed everything.  Before we put everything back in place, I lined the backs of the cabinets with vintage paper and heavily edited the items to go back on the shelves.  The change amazed us.  Even though the cabinets still need to be painted, the paper livened up the wall and helps tie our colors together.

There's my $10 toaster (from the Indoor Yard Sale) on the counter.  We LOVE it, and will love it even more during the South's summer heat.

A couple of shots from my birthday party:
 Fun with Christian and Ed.
Music = Love.  You can see it on Amy's face.

Thank you to all my wonderful friends for the birthday party!  It was an evening filled with great company, delicious food and street music.  Let's find a reason to celebrate every month!

Every gal should have a tiara...

Junk Jettison: The Grand Finale

Couldn't keep up with the blogging again, but the Junk Jettison was a great success!  The indoor yard sale was held at the Convention Center on January 22, 2011, and the gals and I all made a little money.  But the best part of all was getting rid of the junk.  We even sold all the leftover bits to the junk vendor across the aisle from us.  All I went home with was a toaster oven I bought from our neighbor for $10.
