Project 365: April 14, 2011

Christian is the happiest man alive at this moment.  When we lived in Los Angeles, he ate at Chipotle ALL THE TIME with his friend, Troy.  Since we left L.A., Troy has been gloating about eating Chipotle on a regular basis.  Like calling Christian every time he's there.  And probably making num num noises in the phone.  Until today, the closest Chipotle to us in Mississippi was in Nashville, Tennessee, 4 hours away.  Gas is WAY too expensive, and we're way too busy (lazy) to drive there.  So we (Christian) suffered.  And not in silence.  The "we" in suffering = Christian suffering because he couldn't eat the delicious Chipotle, and me suffering listening to him.

NO MORE!!!

The location below just opened in Memphis... only 1 hour away!!!!

And can you guess what Christian did?  He called Troy and gloated.

Today included a trip to the cabinet shop to pick out kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities for the new house being built at Plein Air (the neighborhood I manage).  Here's a sample of the color combo for the second bath vanity.  Not sure about the countertop yet.

Here's where I slacked off and didn't take any photos.  Guess I was either too busy or too boring.  So, I'll take this opportunity to share a link to Christian's temporary site.  Hope you enjoy the films!

Love this pine armoire from Tin Pan Alley Art & Antiques.

Project 365: April 6, 2011

Had to go shopping for the new house being built in the neighborhood I manage.  This will be the kitchen sink.  Come to think about it, this will be the "new" kitchen sink at my house, too.  (The sink my friend gave me looks just like this one.)  Stay tuned for photos of my new kitchen counter, sink and faucet.

Project 365: April 5, 2011

My life has been consumed by this issue and meeting, so why not include a picture of the notice on the Post Office bulletin board?  The town is all atwitter about someone wanting to serve alcohol in a restaurant here.

Project 365: April 4, 2011

Mmmmmm... asparagus.  Love the monster spear.  Thank you K&K's garden.

Project 365: March 31, 2011

Now this is more like it.  A great way to end the month!  Christian and I are gluttons for crawfish, and typically eat it at least once a week during the season.  Delicious, spicy, juicy mudbugs!  Mmmmm...

Project 365: March 30, 2011

Today, this street drainage problem has hijacked my work day.

Project 365: March 29, 2011

The new house being built in the neighborhood I manage.  I had to take a progress picture for my boss.  Besides, this house is taking up so much time in my work day, I figured it made sense to add it to my 365 shots.

Kerry and Kevin's glorious garden is green and growing!

Project 365: March 27, 2011

Time to catch up on posting some pictures...
So begins my adventure as chicken-sitter for my friend Kerry.  I think I'm being given the stink-eye .

Project 365: March 26, 2011

My friend Luke moved into his new office today and hung out his own shingle.  No more commuting 2 hours each day.  Congratulations, Luke!
I stopped by the new digs to check it out and say hello to him and his wife, Amy.  Upon entering the doorway, I couldn't keep my mouth shut.  I had to comment on his choice of artwork.

Yes, it's Luke's Big Cock
Of course, Luke's sense of humor was appreciative.  So he posed for me.

Little Tiny
I doomed her to be fat by naming her that, so now we call her Meatball.
